An Autumn Walk in the WildWoods

It's been awhile since we went for a walk in the WildWoods. The summer was just too hot to be outside much at all.
And unfortunately the trees lost a lot of leaves over the summer due to stress from the hot/dry conditions. But we did manage to have a little color this Autumn.

Enjoyed seeing the beautiful colors of Autumn on your walk. We had the same problem with heat and dryness this year and the effect on the Autumn leaf color.

Totally off subject, but yesterday I saw Pola O'Cana (random meeting at the Intl. Quilt festival where she is a vendor and I went to look at the nice quilts). Remember her? I asked if she ever heard from Wanda. Do you ever hear from Wanda? (oh and if you haven't figured out just who the heck I am lol, this is Marce S.)

Nice photos. We don't have color here, or at least very rarely have color and I miss it terribly.

The four seasons is what I missed the most when living in the Deep South.
