September Giveaway ~ Crystals

September is a magickal month - cooler temperatures and lengthening shadows mark the beginning of Autumn. The trees begin to adorn themselves with glorious colors in celebration of the season. Leaves will be dancing in the street to a rhythm and beat orchestrated by the wind.

And in celebration of this enchanting time, I am hosting a GiVeAwAy! 
Hubby and I recently went to a gem and mineral show in nearby Woodland Park.

It was a beautiful day set against the gorgeous backdrop of Pikes Peak and its surrounding foothills. There were many treasures to be seen and I found some wonderful items there. And I would like to share a few with three lucky readers. 
I am giving away a Quartz crystal cluster, a Citrine crystal, and a Smoky Quartz crystal.

A Smoky Quartz "window" 
this is a smoky quartz rock which has had a slice cut off one side & the cut side polished to a high gloss. The dark shadow that appears in the picture is the reflection of trees in the window.

No road trip this week. But next week we're going to take a drive over Boreas Pass. So be sure to get your rest and pack a lunch 'cause it's quite a trek up and over the Continental Divide!

End of Year Goodies

I really must share with you some goodies I received recently ......

The first is a wonderful night light that I received from MarZel at The Play of Light and Shadow.  MarZel has a monthly giveaway that is always fun! Stop by for a visit and signup while you're there!

Next are some goodies that I received from Zan of Vagabond Creations.  I was just expecting to get a Halloween matchbox but received one of Zan's lovely dolls as well - this handsome Devil Dude! And some yummy potpourri! {Which she made herself!}

Blogger doesn't seem to want to post the picture correctly!  So turn your computer screen sideways - that way you don't have to turn your head!   :0)

And lastly I received a wonderful Blog Award from Kelvin over at Window Lad.  Kelvin writes wonderful poetry and haikus. And he has an art blog, Papers and Crayons.  Do stop by for a visit if you are out and about blog hopping!

And now for some synchronicities...

1)  I live in the little hamlet of Acorn which is outside
of Mena, Arkansas.
2)  The local Acorn School, which we live next to, has the motto, Mighty Oaks From Little Acorns Grow. 

2) Hubby will be graduating from college in under three weeks. He will be setting off on a new career. And like a Little Acorn he will grow into a Mighty Oak (well.... make that a Mighty Computer Genius).
4)  Wendy's gift arrived two days before my birthday!

October Goodness

I was quite a lucky person in October. I had several wonderful items fly my way.

The first was a wonderful Witch Doll (made from a tassel) that I won in a giveaway hosted by Patrick of Cre8ors Touch in a workshop group on The Hive.   Isn't she fun?  Patrick is most inventive. To visit his blog, Click here!

September's Festivities....

There is a lot to celebrate this September ~ the Autumn Equinox, my 2 year Blog-o-versary, and the fact that I have reached over 200 Followers! WOW! And I'm sure there are other things that need to be celebrated ... like the coming of cooler weather, Halloween's on the way, and Dust Bunny Breeding Season is about over.
