1. I can't seem to keep a working watch on me. They always quit working after about a day.
2. I prefer to eat my spinach raw.
3. I have an extreme fondness for green chili.

Ophiuchus. (not sure I like this!)

5. I don't like touching reptiles or amphibians. (oohhhh, creepy!)

6. I love iced animal cookies!

7. I have recently discovered that I have a fondness for hats.

I had a revelation in October.......Halloween Loving Bloggers are prolific posters. 

It was all I could do to keep up with all the packing, painting , the laundry { sorry Dear, you'll have some clean socks tomorrow! I promise! }  and other daily tasks,--   Let alone read all  the posts everyone made! But I enjoyed reading every last one of them!

And I received not one but three wonderful awards from Lady Cattra Shadow.

An Award and a Thank You!

I recently received a blog award from a most wonderful gal over at I Hope They Have Pudding.

If you haven't had a chance to visit with her, you're missing out on a treat! She always has the most luscious items to eat  over at her place and she even shares the receipts (recipes)! 

I must now share seven things about myself! 

Hhhmm...this may be hard, I'm not sure I have any tidbits left that I haven't already shared......

So forgive me if I have mention something already.

1. I have a fern fetish! I love ferns of all shapes and sizes and varieties.

2. I hate washing dishes by hand. I will spend two hours organizing the dishwasher so all the dirty dishes will fit, rather than spend 15 min. washing them in the sink.

3. I have an aversion to having my picture taken.

4. I love to decorate with the color red but can't stand wearing the color!

5. I am a hoarder of books.

6. I am also a hoarder of Pumpkins.

7. I know there is something large and furry living under my bed (oh...it's just a dust bunny!)

9. Favorite famous Person or Personality?    Vincent Price

Byrum Spiritual Art Award

I recently received a very special award from a very dear friend. Sherry Byrum of Byrum Art.

This Award is given to those who inspire and encourage others.

Thank You Sherry! This means a great deal to me!

I like to think that "There is a little Artist in all of us." Sometimes we just need encouragement to let that Artist come out to play!

I have many online friends (most of who have already received this award!) who constantly encourage & inspire me and my artwork. And I would like to THANK each of them for all their words of encouragement! But there is one group of women who all especially deserve this award - the Prim and Whimsy GirLs. They are always supportive, encouraging, and one of the BEST groups of Ladies I know! And I am lucky enough to be a part of that Fantastic Group of Artists! And there are two people, who don't have blogs, that I would like to recognize. My dear, sweet Hubby - who has never doubted my abilities. Even when I did. And my wonderful sister, Becky. Who has always had faith in me. (And who contributes a lot to this blog!)

Suzie of Cat In The Moon was inspired to create a blog about gardening and things Halloween. It's just a seedling now but I do hope you'll stop by The Haunted Gardens now and then to wander the paths and see what a Magickal, Mystical Menagerie of Earthly Frights and Delights it is!
