Blue Moon ~ Magickal Ending for the Year!

A blue moon is a full moon that is not timed to the regular monthly pattern. Most years have twelve full moons which occur approximately monthly, but in addition to those twelve full lunar cycles, each calendar year contains an excess of roughly eleven days. The extra days accumulate, so that every two or three years there is an extra full moon. The extra moon is called a "blue moon." The term "blue moon" is commonly used to describe the rarity of an event, as in the expression, "once in a blue moon." This year's Blue Moon occurs on New Year's eve, December 31, 2009.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
May the coming year bring you health & wealth, love & laughter. ♥

Tombstones, Graveyards, and the Grim Reaper

That is the HAGS theme for this week, October 5 - 11. How creepy is that! Be sure to check out all the wonderful creations from this group on EBay.

Here is a picture of a Fairy Door that belongs to the Grim Reaper. Sorry this Fairy Door has already been purchased.

And here is another Fairy Door entitled The Crypt . It too is sold.

But here is a Fairy Door which I made especially for this week's theme. It's entitled Spook Night. It is available on eBay.

From Ghoulies and Ghosties.....

To Long-legged Beasties. And things that go bump in the night.

I would be remiss to not include some ghost stories ~ especially this close to Halloween.

I can remember my sisters telling me ghost stories when I was little, trying to scare me. Sometimes it worked. But mostly it made me want to hear more stories about ghosts and other oddities. I have lived in many regions of the country throughout my life and I have tried to collect ghost stories from each area. Many have a common thread running through them.

I am providing some links to stories of ghosts and other mysterious things I thought you might enjoy reading.

Do ghosts really exist? Only they know the answer to that question.

Happy Haunting!
