Leaf Peepers

Here in Colorado, people who make the journey through the mountains to view the Autumn color are called Leaf Peepers.
Hubby and I are Leaf Peepers. Here's what we saw.

  1. Beautiful! The first time I ever heard that term "leaf peepers" was years ago on the Bob Newhart show when he played the inn owner in Vermont. I thought it was such a funny term!

  3. Oh beautiful Jeanne! I wish I lived in a place where I could be a leaf peeper. I'm so envious of others who get to see a montage of beautiful colors!

  5. How beautiful! I'm not familiar with the term "leaf peepers" but I'm definitely one of those too. :) I received your prize today! Thanks so much. The book looks great! I couldn't help noticing your return address, because my mom lived in your town when she was a teenager. Small world. :)

  7. Hello fellow Leap Peeper! I'm going to New England soon to do some leaf peeping of my own! So it is officially autumn out there...how lovely it is too! My cousin just texted me tonight to say that that they are expecting snow. I don't know if she meant soon, or just this winter...ha! But it would be fun to go out there and let the kids see snow. I might need to wait til' next year so that we can make good plans and research decent hotels or house rentals. I really appreciate all that info you sent me too, thanks again for that. I hope you enjoy this magical time of year! Thanks for letting me know about this post too, as I did miss it and I enjoyed being able to do a little leaf peeping through your photos! :o) Have a good weekend! :o)
