Weird Wednesday ~ Tree Hugging

Have you hugged a Tree lately?

Hugging a Tree may just improve your health! Actually, just being out in Nature can provide a host of health benefits for everyone, especially children.
Matthew Silverstone, the author of Blinded by Science,  states that the vibrational energy of plants, especially trees, can help alleviate many health issues like headaches, depression, ADHD as well as improve concentration levels and reaction time.
Silverstone explains the reason for this - everything vibrates and different vibrations affect biological behaviors. When we touch a tree, its vibrational pattern affects the various biological behaviors within the human body. Thus bringing those behaviors into a healing alignment.

Trees and Plants also help with the cleansing and revitalizing of all the stored up negativity and stress that humans experience and give that negative energy a place to be absorbed.

Weird Wednesday ~ Einstein and Ghosts

Albert Einstein said that energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only change from one form to another. When we are alive, we have electrical energy in our bodies. ... What happens to the electricity that was in our body, causing our heart to beat and making our breathing possible? There is no easy answer to that.

Einstein proved that all the energy of the universe is constant and that it can neither be created nor destroyed. ... So what happens to that energy when we die? If it cannot be destroyed, it must then, according to Dr. Einstein, be transformed into another form of energy. What is that new energy? ... Could we call that new creation a ghost?

Grandma Goth & Flossy McGrew's

There's a most unique thrift store in Denver. It's called Flossy McGrew's
(Remember! Click on a photo to enlarge it!)

And the Proprietress of this wonderful establishment is fondly called Grandma Goth.

When Grandma Goth, aka Suelynn Gustafson, took over the family antique business, she expanded the inventory to include more items that tend towards the Dark and Macabre. Sounds like fun, Huh?
And Flossy McGrew's is THE PLACE to go if you are in need of a costume!
Here's a short video of the store.

Weird Wednesday ~ Death Cry of a Carrot

When do carrots actually die?
When they are yanked from the ground?
When they are deprived of water and other vital nutrients?
It has been proven that Carrots die only when they are (1) left out to rot, (2) cooked to 140 deg in water, or (3) ingested in the stomach!

Author Matthew Silverstone has provided scientific evidence that proves that vegetables are not just simple objects but are as sophisticated as most animals and that they behave much like humans.

Scientific experiments have proven that vegetables will emit an electrical charge at the time of death. Thus eating vegetables raw is actually healthier for a person - not only do raw vegetables contain more vitamins and minerals but they emit an electrical output into our digestive tract. The stomach's bacteria would be the first to receive the electrical charge and would react in a negative way. Some scientists state that the electrical stimulation can kill off the bad bacteria and stimulate the good bacteria. Vegetarians are a third less likely to suffer from common digestive disorders; digestive disorders which might be  caused by an absence of an electrical charge from the raw vegetables.

Could there be other health benefits from the eating of 'live' vegetables? Should we cook our food to under 140 degrees? Studies have not yet been done to answer these questions.
I am curious to see the findings.....
