Cat Tales ~ Goliath

Goliath is Mes "Little" brother. But theres nuttin little about him!!

Itty Bitty Kitty Goliath
This is him when he came to live with us. Itty bitty he was.

Goliath's favorite way for Daddy to hold him.
He was an on purpose Kitty. Goliath's Grandfather was a stray snaggle-toothed tomcat that had adopted Mommy & Daddy when they lived in Crawfish Country.  The tomcat got friendly with a feral female kitty that called Daddy's shed home. The result were three kittens which Daddy found forebber homes for. The female kitten went to a friend of Daddy's and when she became a Momma then one of her babies came to live with us.
{Whew! That was a story and a half!}

  1. Gomez, what does your mom and dad feed Goliath? And I bet you were just as cute (okay...cuter!) when you were itty bitty. I love your cat tales!

  4. We think Goliath is SO handsome, although not of course as handsome as you, Gomez. Our mommy read once that orange/marmalade cats are supposed to be the smartest, which is why they use them the most in commercials. Of course, we have a different opinion!

  5. Yes, Goliath was a cute itty bitty kitty. But Me thinks that Me has kept my cute kittenish appeal as Me has aged. Mommy says Me has gotten better with age - kinda like Sean Connery.

    Goliath say he's big-boned that's why he's so big. Hhhmm...Me thinks his size has to do with not knowing when to step away from the food bowl....

    Miss Bella & Sele ~ Orange Kitties like doing TV because they "Will Work For Food" more readily than other Kitties. lol Me thinks Siamese (and black Kitties) are the smartest!

  8. Mr. Beazley ~ Ah yes, those hairy, smelly doggies. They make good alarm systems and are a real good clean-up crew for messes on the kitchen floor.
    I tolerate their presence and they pay me the respect due someone of royal lineage like me.
    I have a couple (feline) brothers and a sister who are on a bit friendlier terms with the doggies in the house. I shall write of them in the coming weeks.
    And Thank yous for stopping by to reads Mes story. I know yous not a Cat Man but Me thinks you might like some Kitties.....
