I picked up a heritage seed catalog last month, and the variety of pumpkins is wonderful. I want to to grow some warty, deformed, multi-colored pumpkins of my own next year.
Sad to say, these are not my pumpkins. Wish they were...... The summer weather here has not been kind to the pumpkin vines - too much humidity which then causes disease. :0( I am hoping when we get moved to a drier climate, to have a pumpkin patch. :0)
Love the pale green pumpkins. How interesting to see different varieties. Definitely going to try to grow something like this next season. And mini gourds too. I truly need many acres of land!!! thanks for the photos.
nothing i love more than a warty, lumpy, deformed pumpkin!
ReplyDeleteAre those your pumpkins?
